Our Editing Team:

Karen Boston edited her first manuscript 20 years ago, and she's been hooked ever since. She holds a BA in English and an MFA in Creative Writing, and she's worked for both indie presses and the Big Five, as well as on a freelance basis. Karen prefers a good romance tale, but her editing touch has helped improve everything from dystopian YA thrillers to heartrending memoirs. Books she's edited have found their way onto various bestseller lists and received numerous industry awards.

When not editing, you can find Karen at a remote backwoods lake, snuggled amongst nightcrawlers and fishing lures.

Richard Patterson graduated with a degree in journalism, but he abandoned his pursuit of TV fame and glory for his love of the written word. A voracious reader - and the son of English teachers - Richard can't help making mental notes on how to improve every sentence and paragraph that crosses his path; editing is clearly in his blood. With more than 10 years' experience improving mystery/suspense thrillers, sci-fi epics, and gritty procedurals, Richard looks forward to one day publishing his own literary masterpiece - but not before editing it, of course.

If you ever see Richard hiking at Yosemite National Park, please do say hello.

Tara Bronson loves books so much, she believes they shouldn't be placed into different genres - which is good, because she edits them all. Ever since earning her MFA in Creative Writing, Tara has spent the last 5 years editing everything she can get her hands on. Thanks to her skillful touch, numerous self-published authors have been awarded publishing contracts from indie and major publishers after their books won various awards and achieved top selling status.

When she's not correcting English on the page, you can find Tara putting it on a cue ball in a pool hall near you.

Ben Kaiser
loves being an editor. Seriously. That's all he wants you to know...but we'll tell you a little more. With a BA in English, an MFA in Creative Writing, and 10 years' experience working with Big Five publishers, Ben not only loves being an editor, he's quite qualified to do so. His favorite part of the editing process: being the invisible hand that molds the author's unique voice...see what we mean?

A proud troglodyte, you won't find Ben on SpaceBook, YapChat, or any other newfangled inventions these days.

Anne Morrison
graduated with a BA in English, then spent the next 5 years as a serial entrepreneur - until she finally realized passion is much more valuable than profit. Returning to her first love, she earned an MFA in Creative Writing and has worked with numerous indie presses and authors for the past 5 years. A lover of all things literary, Anne has a particular fondness for epic YA sagas and heart-stopping romance tales.

When it's not sniffing out the details of an author's manuscript, you'll find Anne's nose buried deep in poetry journals.
